Work with Thembi

Five ways in. One conversation to find the right one.

An hour, a day, a room of peers, an AI build, or ongoing private counsel. What they share is a single objective: moving you out of the part of the market that sells by comparison and into the part that sells by recognition.

Fit

This is built for you if

  • You are established. There is a track record, real results, and clients who would say so without being asked.
  • You are still being compared to people visibly less experienced than you, and it is showing up in your fees.
  • Your best work arrives through referral and reputation, and you would like that to be designed rather than accidental.
  • You are prepared to narrow what you are known for, even though it means saying no to work you could technically do.

Not a fit

This is the wrong room if

  • You are looking for someone to run your marketing, manage your channels, or produce content on your behalf.
  • You are pre-revenue and still working out what the offer is. Positioning work needs evidence to position.
  • You want reach without a point of view. Volume with no claim behind it is the problem this practice exists to solve.
  • You want reassurance rather than an opinion. The advice here is directive, and occasionally unwelcome.

The engagements

Choose by the size of the decision.

Not by budget, and not by what sounds most impressive. A single sharp hour solves some problems better than six months of anything. Part of my job in the application is to stop you buying more than you need.

01

Sixty minutes. Book directly.

The Advisory Hour

One decision. One hour. A direct answer. For the question that has been open for weeks because there is nobody senior enough in your world to put it to.

  • A pre-session brief so the hour starts at depth, not at background
  • A recommendation with the reasoning behind it, not a menu of options
  • A written summary of what to do, in what order
Right for you if You have one specific, consequential question. A pricing decision, an offer you are unsure about, a repositioning you keep circling. And you want it settled this week.
02

One day. By application.

The Positioning VIP Day

A single intensive day, spent on one of three things: your positioning, your offer architecture, or your visibility strategy. We do the work in the room. You leave with decisions made and an execution plan, not a deck you will open once.

  • Diagnostic and pre-work before the day, so nothing is spent on discovery
  • Deliverables built live, with you, rather than sent afterwards
  • A sequenced execution plan and a follow-through checkpoint
Right for you if You know roughly what needs to change but have not been able to sit down and decide it, and you want the whole thing resolved in one concentrated block rather than dragged across a quarter.
03

Twice monthly. Capped at ten. By application.

The SPAR Room

Strategic Peer Advisory. Eight to ten curated members, twice-monthly sessions combining hot-seat advisory with strategic teaching. It is the room most experienced operators assume they will eventually find and almost never do: peers senior enough to challenge them, in a setting small enough for it to be real.

  • Membership is curated for composition, not filled in order of arrival
  • Hot seats on live decisions in progress, never hypotheticals
  • Strategic teaching on positioning, fees, placement and pipeline
  • Continuity. People who remember what you decided last month and ask about it
Right for you if You are the most senior person in most of your rooms, which sounds like a compliment and functions like isolation. You want ongoing counsel and honest peers rather than another course.
05

Audit, then build. By application.

AI Implementation

For advisory practices that need AI working inside the business rather than talked about in it. An exposure audit first, so you know which of your work AI takes cheaply and which of it AI makes more valuable, then a build of the workflows worth building.

  • A written line between the work to automate, augment, and leave alone
  • The first workflows built with you, so the capability stays with your team
  • No tools sold or referred, and no commissions anywhere in it
  • You can stop after the audit and take the plan elsewhere
Right for you if Your delivery still depends on hours you personally cannot add to, and you suspect a meaningful share of it should not be done by a person any more. I closed a business to learn this distinction, so I am unusually blunt about it.
06

Ongoing. Strictly limited. By application.

Private Advisory

Ongoing, one-to-one strategic counsel for a small number of practices at a time. Positioning, offer and fee architecture, visibility strategy, and the decisions that come up in between, with someone who has the full context and is not meeting you cold each time.

  • A defined strategic agenda, revisited rather than restarted
  • Access between sessions for decisions that will not wait
  • Deliberately few clients, so the thinking stays specific to you
Right for you if The repositioning is significant, the stakes are high, and you want one person holding the whole picture over time rather than a series of one-off interventions.

What happens next

No funnel. Four steps.

There is one application for every engagement, deliberately. It is how we work out together which room you belong in, rather than you guessing from a pricing table.

01

You apply

About five minutes. There are no right answers. The questions are designed to surface where you are, not to test you. Answer honestly, because a flattering application produces a wasted call.

02

Thembi reads it herself

Every application. Not a screener, not an assistant. You will have a reply within 48 hours either way, including if the answer is no.

03

A short conversation

If there is a fit, you are invited to a brief discovery call. Its only purpose is to confirm the right engagement and the right timing. It is not a sales call with a different name.

04

We begin

You get a start date, a scope, and pre-work. From there the work is directive: decisions, sequence, and someone who will tell you when you are wrong.

Before you apply

The questions people actually ask.

Why are the fees not listed?

Because the scope is not fixed until we have spoken. The Advisory Hour is priced and bookable directly. Everything else depends on what you are trying to move. You will have a clear figure before any call becomes a decision, with no pressure attached to it.

I do not know which engagement I need.

Good. That is what the application is for. Describe the situation rather than choosing a product. Being placed in the wrong engagement helps neither of us.

Do you only work with coaches and consultants?

Primarily, along with professional services and advisory practices. The common factor is selling expertise into a market where the buyer struggles to tell qualified people apart. If that describes yours, the work translates.

Do I need a large audience first?

No. Audience size is one of the weakest predictors of premium demand. Placement in front of the right small group, with a clear claim, consistently outperforms reach into a market that cannot buy.

Will you write my content or run my socials?

No. This is advisory, not execution. I will tell you what to say, where to be seen and in what order, and you or your team will do it. Delegating the point of view is what created the problem.

How quickly does anything change?

The positioning decision can be made in a day. How fast the market updates depends on where you show up afterwards and how consistently. Anyone promising a fixed timeline for reputation is guessing.

The application

This is where it begins.

A VIP Day, the SPAR Room, or Private Advisory. One application covers all three, and it takes about five minutes.

There are no right or wrong answers. Answer honestly and the application does its job, which is helping both of us work out which engagement suits where you actually are. Thembi replies within 48 hours.

Goes straight to Thembi. She reads every application herself and replies within 48 hours, including when the answer is no. Prefer email? Write to support@thembibheka.com.
