Empowering Dreams. Transforming Lives.
Moving to Canada with just $5 in my pocket, I knew my life would never be the same again. Though I had no idea what the future held, deep down I believed that the path I was about to take would not only change my life but also the lives of many women I had left behind.
As I navigated life in a new country, I wondered how I would fulfill this dream of empowering women in Africa while working as an ICU Nurse. Though the dream seemed far-fetched, along the way, there were signs. Signs that I was meant for more, signs that the ICU was just another stop on the long journey God had envisioned for me.
Many years later, I look back with gratitude. Not only has God allowed me to touch the lives of women in Africa, but I have also graced many stages that once seemed far beyond reach, including Inbound, LaunchCon, Smart Passive Income, and Podfest, to name just a few.
This path, which God laid for me, continues to unravel with ease, grace, and favor. Who knew a girl from Zimbabwe, who never graduated from university, would find herself leading a company chosen to work with Stanford University?
If I can impact and inspire your audience to believe in the power of what I call a miracle in my life, so they can achieve greater results, I would be honored.
I believe that anyone, despite their background or history, can achieve their God-given purpose on this earth.

Insights For Success
A few years ago I used to have a quiz which my clients loved.
The quiz was to help determine what type of personality one has and use that to fill in the missing gaps in business.
I recently revisited this quiz as I was going through my archives and realized how almost obsolete this quiz has become.
A sad realization but also a valuable lesson.
Thank you, AI.
But seriously, almost all of the above traits can be easily replaced by AI. So it doesn't matter anymore if you are the most analytical person or the least procedural person right now.
AI can do all that, except one skill.
According to Chat GPT, guess we don't have to quote it, or do we?
"Relational skills involve emotional intelligence, deep human connection, trust-building, and nuanced social interactions—areas where AI still struggles like...
Building trust in business relationships
Understanding unspoken emotions in conversations
Negotiating complex human dynamics
Providing personalized mentorship and leadership
...While AI can assist with relational tasks (e.g., chatbots or recommendation systems), it cannot fully replace the depth, empathy, and intuition that humans bring to relational interactions." Chat GPT
Sadly a lot of people struggle with this. This, my friends is my zone of genius.
I love connecting and building relationships so much. In fact, I am starting a podcast all about this.
Watch out for more details in a few weeks or so about the brand new podcast coming up.
I believe the people who are going to come out winners in this next digital Era are those who can connect and relate.
It's a skill that can be learnt and mastered.
Having grown up in Zimbabwe, this skill comes naturally to me, mainly because I was forced to co-exist in a community, where, like it or not, your neighbor had the same rights over you as your parents did, so you had to learn to relate to just about everyone.
It was a culture shock for me when I moved to Montreal and no one ever came over unannounced to ask for salt or hang out.
Though I enjoyed this new found freedom of doing whatever I wanted without someone telling my mom about it, I also missed having someone come in and check on me and how I was doing.
When I moved to Edmonton, I met a lot of Canadian friends who had grown up in small towns and understood the power of community and relating to some level.
Something technology and AI is quickly eroding, yet something we need now more than ever.
I get asked by so many people how I create relationships and I have been in this space where I have been trying to figure out how to transfer those relational skills to others,
as I believe this is what every entrepreneur whether seasoned or starting out must have.
I plan to have a training on this soon. If this is something that feels aligned, leave a comment below and I will let you know.
For now, I think everyone needs to take stock of their assets and figure out how to amplify what AI can't replace and replace what AI can.
This could be your shield against the new AI wave,
Until next time,
Thembi
